Auto Autos is our own product: a SaaS that lets independent garages sell car-maintenance subscriptions. A garage sets up branded plan tiers—annual service, MOT or ITV, detailing, interim checks—and its customers pay a monthly subscription instead of facing surprise bills. The garage gets predictable recurring revenue and loyal customers; the driver gets one app that keeps their car’s whole history and nudges them before anything is due.

Three surfaces, one brand: a marketing site, a responsive garage dashboard, and a single customer app for iOS, Android, and the web that re-themes to whichever garage the driver belongs to. Garages pick from thirty-one built-in colour schemes inspired by classic racing liveries or set their own colours, and the app resolves accessible text and contrast automatically. One customer account can belong to several garages, with vehicles, plans, and history scoped to each.

Product mechanics: tiers carry an entitlement list drawn from a structured service catalogue, so the vehicle log and reminders stay consistent. Vehicle classes let a garage price by registration year, engine, fuel type, or make and model, with per-vehicle uplifts, fixed overrides, or approval-required quotes, plus automatic multi-car discounts. Bookings are request-based—the customer asks, the garage confirms or proposes a time—and every completed job is logged with mileage, notes, and photos. Subscriptions run through Stripe Connect on each garage’s own account with a platform fee, including minimum terms, cooling-off refunds, dunning, and open or invite-only join policies with shareable links and QR codes.

Localised for the UK and Spain: MOT versus ITV terminology, GBP versus EUR, and English or Spanish throughout the app, dashboard, and marketing site.

Tech stack: a pnpm and Turborepo monorepo with the customer app in Expo (React Native, Expo Router), the dashboard and API in TanStack Start, PostgreSQL with Drizzle, Clerk with Organizations for garage staff, Stripe Connect and Stripe Billing for payments, ImageKit for job photos, PostHog and Sentry for analytics and error tracking, and DigitalOcean App Platform for hosting.
