- Technical Leadership
VegVisits is in the early stage of growth, with the immediate objective of securing its first funding round. My work as CTO is focused on turning vision into measurable execution: shipping product quickly, proving customer value, and building a technical foundation that can scale after investment. A major part of my role is providing robust platform monitoring and giving the team reliable data so decisions are driven by evidence rather than assumptions.
CTO Role and Responsibilities
As CTO, I own the full technical direction of VegVisits and connect engineering decisions to business outcomes.
- Define and maintain the product and technical roadmap.
- Build and lead engineering delivery from MVP to repeatable releases.
- Make architecture choices that balance speed now with scalability later.
- Establish development standards, QA processes, and release discipline.
- Own platform monitoring and observability to keep performance, uptime, and reliability visible.
- Build analytics and reporting that enable the team to make data-driven product and technical decisions.
- Support investor readiness with technical due diligence materials, platform narrative, and delivery evidence.
Funding Readiness Work
To prepare for a successful first round, I focus on proving that VegVisits can execute and grow efficiently.
- Deliver high-impact product milestones tied to user and revenue signals.
- Instrument analytics to show activation, retention, and engagement trends.
- Create a clear platform story: current architecture, scale plan, and technical risks.
- Document roadmap milestones that show how funding accelerates growth.
- Maintain a lean engineering operating model that demonstrates capital efficiency.
Growing the Team
My approach to growing the VegVisits team is staged, practical, and aligned with company maturity.
- Start with a high-output core team covering product engineering, platform, and design collaboration.
- Hire for ownership and adaptability, not just role specialization.
- Introduce lightweight operating rhythms: weekly planning, clear priorities, and fast feedback loops.
- Build a culture of accountability, quality, and customer-focused decision-making.
- Expand the team in phases after funding, based on validated bottlenecks and product demand.
This model ensures VegVisits can move quickly today while building the team structure required to scale confidently after investment.
